Bad Quarterback Derby

New England’s eggs in Brady’s Knee

Filed under: Uncategorized — badquarterback @ 8:42 pm

With a new offensive coordinator, a surgically repaired knee, and a host of new wideouts and worn down running backs, the Patriots offense is one play away from landing on the bad quarterback radar.

Today, Belchick released back up quarterback Kevin O’Connell and the depth chart behind Tom Brady (92.9) looks like this: Andrew Walter (52.6), Brian Hoyer (NA).

While the initial thought may be that New England will look for additional depth at the quarterback position as an insurance policy when other teams make final cuts next weekend, their hope is that Brady stays healthy.  If I had my withers about the situation, the Patriots will land A.J. Feeley (69.6) in exchange for a draft pick.
